Taking a Stand for the And
We decided to call ourselves
“Stand for the And Education Company.”
The word “and’ is represented by squiggly symbol called an ampersand. The word itself, albeit short, holds a lot of meaning for us as founders.
“And” is a joiner of things.
“And” is a connector.
“And” brings things together.
“And” reminds us that there is more.
“And” looks for solutions and makes good on promises.
“And” is more certain that it’s cousin “if,” and more possible than it’s relative “but.”
“And” looks ahead.
“And” considers and hopes and does.
“AND” FEELS GOOD.
So that is what we are taking a stand for.
All of the above, please.
One of our core philosophies is finding ways we can say, “Yes, and….” to things.
We think it’s a lot more fun, more exciting, and more abundant than the alternative, “no, buts…” of the world.
At the heart of all we do here, we first say a resounding “YES” to what is and then add an “And…” to push the status quo toward a more fair, just, equitable, inclusive, successful, compassionate, empathetic marketplace that cares just as much about the OUTCOME as we do about our INCOME.
As a company, we lie squarely at the intersection of the education AND business.
Something you won’t easily find elsewhere online.
